“Thanks!! I was really proud of her getting braver also. It's a really supportive environment!”

Nan of 17 yo grand-daughter (carer)

“Thanks. I also noticed last night that he sat with his dad talking longer than usual. It’s great to see.”

Alison – Mum of 12 yo son

“I am so amazed at how wonderful you all are and how great you are a communication. Everyone I talk to is so lovely and as parents we just can’t thank you all enough.”

Meg - Mum of 18 yo son

My son has grown in confidence tenfold since joining Minecraft around October 2022. I am just thrilled at his growth in confidence, talking with a trusting community & gaining problem-solving skills along the way.

- Proud Mum of 11 year old

“Can you believe it. This is so much fun. Mum enrolled me in this program without telling me and she pays me to come and now I’m having so much fun. Who would have thought?”

- One of our teens in PEERS Social Skills program

"I just want to say how grateful we are to be part of this program. [Dad] and I have noticed how both our girls have grown this year. The Minecraft sessions are the highlight of our week and they tick so many boxes, and Secret Agent Society was excellent. Jade and Ally really enjoy the positive environment created by your team. It's also a real boost to hear about the positive impact...."

- Trish, Mum of 2 lovely daughters

“That’s great I’m glad Charlotte was more engaged this week and enjoyed herself. Thanks.”

Here's what parents say...

"This is the first year since starting school (now in grade 3) that he has been able to make and maintain a close friendship.

He has finally found his “crew” in two other boys in his class.

Never before has he played consistently day in day out with the same kids for a whole semester.

Usually at the end of the year when the teacher asks the students to write down the names of 5 friends they’d like in their class next year he has no idea who to write, but he was so excited to tell me about a month ago “Mum, I already know who I’m going to write down at the end of the year and I can’t wait for school camp. I know exactly who I want in my cabin.”

He is so happy and so are we. He even built the confidence to join a local basketball team at the beginning of the year and made a stack of wonderful friends there too.

SAS has been a fantastic use of our NDIS funding and worth the investment.

You are changing lives!"

- Ellie and Paul.

“Mani is enjoying the program and getting a lot out of the interactions with others. He's going well.”

Natalie, mum of 9 yo.

“I'm sure I'm not the only parent who feels this way....after 14 years of people pointing out what is wrong with our son, and him being too difficult, too much, too whatever to be included, this is such and lovely change! You all give such lovely feedback.”

Kat - Mum of 14 y.o son.

“Yes I am so pleased with the leaders and Nate is enjoying the one on one leadership. He actually struggled in the special needs class so we have enrolled him in Tafe with a vocational guidance course for numeracy and literacy. I spoke with him this morning and he looks forward to the sessions. Given his Autism I am so very thankful.”

Leah - Mum of older teen.

“He’s VERY eager now. Stevie went into the bank independently and asked for a bank card to be activated, then went into a cafe and applied for a job! Then again at the Safeway for stock boy job. He’s planning on his learners permit as well. I can't believe it. This group has changed his whole mindset.”

Donna - Mum who is so, so amazed by her son after the first 5 sessions.

“I love this! It's been great to see how he has changed throughout the sessions with the first being quite frustrated to now enjoying them. He really uses the tools too, which is brilliant to see. Thanks!”

Andrea, with a 14 yo son – Happy Mum.
