AUTISM Tip: How To Prevent Meltdowns.

Meltdowns happen. They are part of life… for now.
But there are some simple steps that any parent can take do to reduce how often meltdowns happen and reduce the amount of time we spent dealing with meltdowns.

Always remember that parenting is a marathon, not a sprint. Your child doesn’t need a perfect parent, just need one who cares. 😊

We aren’t teenagers anymore. We don’t need anyone’s approval. Be really clear about what your needs are and then be persistent about making sure that those needs get met.
If parenting was easy, everyone would do it. Let’s give ourselves credit for just doing our best.
