Here's 3x Friendship Groups For Your Child To Enjoy and Grow Social Skills

Hedge Maze - Autism + Support

Hopefully, your child is plugged in somewhere locally with a Scouts group or a sport or something. But sometimes you just don't have that.

Just thought I'd remind you we have social groups for keeping your child social and using friendship skills.

Minecraft Team Skills Group (7-15 yo): https://www.amazingskills.com.au/minecraft

Half your child's screen is Minecraft and half the screen is Zoom so we can see each other and hear each other and work together to build fun things. We learn to work together as a team and to give-and-take.

Art Friendship Group (7-17 yo): https://www.amazingskills.com.au/art-groups

It's not about the colouring in or drawing or painting or whatever your child chooses to do each day. Instead it's all about the conversations that happen while we emotionally regulate ourselves by doing some art. We build friendships and conversational skills.

Social Games Nights (11-20 yo): https://www.amazingskills.com.au/social-games

Super fun interactive games like "Would You Rather" or "Where in the World Are We?" or other very simple games to learn so that we can hang out with people and make friends.

These are just some of the NDIS-Friendly options you have - either locally or with us.

It takes a village to raise a child and we are here to be part of your village.

😊 Have fun,
